Penn State Wilkes-Barre is hosting its annual “Be a Penn Stater for a Day” program. All high school juniors and seniors thinking about college are invited to visit the Wilkes-Barre campus on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

To take advantage of this free and fun event, local students are encouraged to visit the Penn State Wilkes-Barre web site at http://www.wb.psu.edu/. All participants that spend the day on campus will have the chance to attend classes, meet professors, have lunch in the cafeteria, and interact with other students and staff members.

According to the Admissions office, this highly successful event has been in existence for more than five years. During a recent University survey, first-year students rated this event as a deciding factor for choosing Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
