Leaders attend Conference

Penn State Wilkes-Barre recently sent seven students to a three-day Summer Leadership Conference held in Harrisburg, PA. Over two hundred students representing the Commonwealth Campuses and University Park attended this educational and fun event.

According to Jackie Warnick-Piatt, PSU Wilkes-Barre Student Activities Coordinator, “Students took advantage of training programs that were offered on time management, leadership skills, event planning, diversity, overcoming obstacles, listening and communication skills, and more. Workshops were presented by both University Administrators and Staff, as well as professional speakers like Jack Chambers of Creative Educational Concepts, and Educational Consultant Tom Segar.”
