Wayne Hoffman returns!

Wayne Hoffman
10/19/2006 —

Mentalist-illusionist, Wayne Hoffman will return to Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Monday, October 30, in Hayfield House 105. If you missed his show last April, you won't want to miss it again. Hoffman earned rave reviews here from an audience including students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.

Whether he's performing for college students, Fortune 500 executives, or celebrities, Hoffman's blend of visual illusions and psychological stunts creates a mind-blowing form of mystery entertainment that leaves his audience spellbound. The show is a hands-on production built on audience interaction - involving the audience in every twist and turn. He reads minds, performs impossible illusions, and eats razorblades! He has predicted international headline news weeks before it happened and has also predicted winning lottery numbers. Hoffman is perhaps best known for his insane stunts like driving an $118,000 custom car sixteen miles – blindfolded! Or, the straitjacket escape, a stunt that puts him inside a straitjacket with a scorpion - then he gets hoisted 100 feet into the air by his ankles! Note that Hoffman is banned from every major casino in the country for his talent with playing cards.

Reservations for the show can be made at $5/person or $3/student by contacting Jackie Warnick-Piatt at 570-675-9284 or jackiewp@psu.edu. Audience arrival is requested by 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 7 p.m.
