Penn State tuition bills go paperless

6/29/2006 —
eBills will replace paper tuition bills effective fall 2006 for all Penn State students. Paper bills will no longer be mailed. Once their classes have been scheduled, students will be notified through their Penn State email account that the eBill is available to view and pay via eLion. Students can access the eBill by logging on to eLion, then selecting "Bills/Tuition/Other." The eBills will display the same information as the traditional paper statements.

Students may grant access to their eBill to a parent, guardian, or another individual by selecting "Parent/Other Access" on eLion. However, the designated individual must have either a Friends of Penn State (FPS) account or a current Penn State Access Account. Accounts can be created at www.elion.psu.edu by selecting "Parent/Other."

Payments can be made electronically via eCheck (electronic check) at no extra charge or eBills can be paid online with a credit card (Mastercard or Discover). There is a 2 percent convenience fee charged for payments made with a credit card. Payment vouchers can also be printed from eLion and mailed with a payment to 103 Shields Building, University Park, PA 16802 or paid at any campus business office.
