Penn State Wilkes-Barre encourages students, faculty and staff to enroll in PSUTXT, an easy and accessible system that lets you know via cell phone when the campus is closed due to weather conditions, or if the campus has an emergency situation. Sign up for PSUTXT and, when necessary, Penn State Wilkes-Barre will send a text message alert directly to your cell phone and/or e-mail account.
While individuals' phone plans may charge for receipt of text messages, subscription to the PSUTXT service is free. All news feeds are optional. You will only receive messages from feeds that you specifically select. Any cell phone number registered with the service is protected by encryption and will be used exclusively for this service.
To register, visit http://live.psu.edu/psutxt online.
To unsubscribe from PSUTXT, go to http://live.psu.edu/psutxt and login.
Use either your AccessID or the account that you created to sign up for PSUTXT originally. For those who created an account, you may use the "Forgot" links to help you remember your account information.
If you are unable to login, please contact PSUTXT Support (live@psu.edu) with your name and cell phone number and they can delete the account for you.
If you have any questions, contact Caroline Chronowski at cxs22@psu.edu or PSUTXT Support at live@psu.edu.
