Hayfield Pathway Endowed Scholarship
You can help pave the way for deserving students to earn a Penn State education!
In October, 1999, an engraved brick walkway replaced the concrete sidewalk in front of historic Hayfield House on the campus of Penn State Wilkes-Barre. This opened a whole new venue of scholarship funds to aid deserving students.
As part of the Hayfield Pathway Endowed Scholarship, you can have a brick engraved with your own name, or leave a lasting tribute to a Penn State graduate, a friend, or relative. The funds generated from the Hayfield Pathway Endowed Scholarship will help Penn State Wilkes-Barre students achieve their academic goals. About 70% of our students receive financial aid through grants, scholarships, work study programs, and loans. In addition to a demonstrated financial need, students who are awarded campus scholarships have proven themselves academically strong and exhibit a desire to learn and excel.
Bricks are available in 3 sizes: 4" x 8" , 8" x 8", and 20" x 24". Three lines of engraving are permitted with thirteen characters in each line (20" x 24" brick allows four lines of engraving and fourteen characters per line).
Order your brick(s) today by using the order form below.
Your tax-deductible contribution will add to the principal of the Hayfield Pathway Endowed Scholarship of Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Your donation will also be recognized by an inscription on the brick.
