Scholarships

At the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus, one out of eight freshmen receives an academic scholarship. Over the past ten years, approximately 700 scholarships have been awarded, ranging from $300 to $4000.

Incoming freshmen are automatically screened for Penn State Wilkes-Barre Scholarships when they apply for admission. Upperclass and returning students must complete a scholarship application which is available each January in the Murphy Center. Applications are due by April 1st.
